In the interview, Carla admitted that she is still hurt by the outcome of her relationship with her estranged husband Tom Rodriguez.

There is no such thing as a divorce in the country but instead, annulment. That’s why their divorce was quick because Tom is an American citizen and covered by U.S. law.

Carla said in her interview on the GMA showbiz reporter podcast and it was also aired on GMA-7’s ’24 Oras’ that, ‘One, because divorce doesn’t exist in the Philippines. Because divorce is not for us, it is not practiced here. It seems like she hasn’t fully sunk in yet.”
